Immerse Yourself in Costa Rican Nature!
This tour combines our 3 most popular adventures in one outstanding tour.
Start with horseback riding in the wild jungle, then, get your heart racing in a wet and wild waterfall rappelling experience. Finally, climb up the inside of an enormous 110 foot (33 meters) ficus tree, unique to this area, all taking place within the lush, tropical Osa Peninsula rainforest!
Rancho Tropical is home to many kinds of wildlife, including all four species of monkeys found in Costa Rica, tropical birds, and the famous sloths. Scarlet macaws fly overhead and howler monkeys are heard echoing through the jungle.
Gentle horses will bring you into the rainforest, where the vegetation and rivers remain virtually untouched.
Take in the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and the Corcovado National Park from one of the best viewpoints on the Osa Peninsula.
Then, ride through a secret passageway to a natural clearing in the forest. Here live massive strangler Ficus trees over 200 feet high that have merged naturally together over many years. Find a hole big enough, then climb inside and begin your ascent towards a small platform 110 feet up affording an amazing view of the countryside and distant ocean! When it’s time to go back down, take a deep breath and rappel to the ground below.
After a short hike through the jungle, you will be rappelling down a powerful 115-foot (35-meter) waterfall. Wet and wild indeed!
Back on your horse, you will gallop across the meadow past the livestock and onto the beach back to the farm.
